Data protection

  1. General provisions

SPANDAFILM gUG attaches great importance to data protection and guarantees that user data will be treated confidentially in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations. This applies in particular to the processing of personal data. Below, we explain what data we collect, when and for what purposes we collect, process and use it within the framework of our website.

  1. Collection and storage of personal data

It is generally not necessary for you to provide your personal data in order to use the SPANDAFILM gUG website. During your visit to our website, you will remain anonymous and the connection data transmitted by your Internet browser each time you visit a page, such as the date, the duration of your visit or the name of your Internet service provider, will be used by us without any personal reference.

Personal data that you voluntarily provide to us for the purpose of contacting us will only be collected, processed (in particular, if necessary, transferred to third parties for the purpose of processing your enquiry in accordance with legal regulations) and used for this purpose, unless you consent to further use. This data will be deleted after 12 months at the latest.

If you wish to contact us, you can enter your name and email address in our contact form. This data will then be collected and processed by us, but not stored.

If we use data for a purpose that requires your consent in accordance with legal provisions, we will ask for your express consent in each case. You can revoke your consent at any time and/or object to the future use of your data, for example by emailing spandafilm.com

We will never sell or rent personal data to third parties.

  1. Data transmission via the Internet

Data transmission via the Internet is always associated with a certain risk. This website therefore works with an appropriate security certificate and encrypts all personal and order-related data using SSL encryption to ensure maximum data security and protect your privacy. Due to the current low market penetration of email encryption methods, we would like to point out that data transmissions via email are essentially unencrypted. It cannot therefore be ruled out that transmitted data may be accessed and falsified by unauthorised persons. We therefore recommend that confidential data be sent by post.

  1. Use of cookies

A cookie is a text file that is stored on your hard drive for a certain period of time when you visit a website or call up a service (such as a plugin). When you visit this website again, the cookie informs the server that a connection has already been established with this PC and provides further data stored in the cookie, such as a unique cookie ID. The server can use the information obtained in various ways. Cookies can be used, for example, to control the display of advertisements or to improve navigation on a website. The cookies we use do not store any personal data. We also use cookies on our websites to optimise the presentation and to offer certain services, including those from third parties (see specific rules below). You can restrict or prevent the use of cookies through your browser settings. Please note that parts of the functionality of the website will then no longer be available or only to a limited extent.

By using our website, you consent to the collection, processing and use of your data – including by the third-party providers listed below – in the manner described and for the purposes specified.

  1. Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (‘Google’). Google Analytics uses ‘cookies’, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data from Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser software; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de).

Further information on terms of use and data protection can be found at http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html or at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/. We would like to point out that on this website, Google Analytics has been extended by the code ‘anonymizeIp’ to ensure anonymous collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking). We also use Google Analytics to evaluate data from AdWords and the DoubleClick cookie for statistical purposes. If you do not wish this, you can deactivate it via the ad settings manager (http://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/?hl=de).

  1. Your rights

Under the Data Protection Act, you have the right to obtain information free of charge about the data stored about you and, if necessary, the right to correct, block or delete this data. Upon your request, we will inform you in writing or, at your request, electronically about which data relating to your person is stored.

  • to request the deletion of your personal data.
  • to request that we delete personal data concerning you immediately if one of the reasons listed in detail in Art. 17 GDPR applies.
  • Unfortunately, we are not permitted to delete data that is subject to a statutory retention period.
  • If you do not want us to collect data from you or contact you again, we will store your contact details on a block list.
  • to revoke any consent you have given with effect for the future without any disadvantages for you.
  • to data portability. This means that, upon request, we will provide the data you have provided in such a way that you can use this data for similar services from another provider.
  • to request that we restrict processing if one of the conditions listed in Art. 18 GDPR is met.
  • to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning you.
  • We will then no longer process the personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims (Art. 21 GDPR).
  • Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, if you believe that the processing of personal data concerning you violates the GDPR, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority responsible for data protection in your country.
  1. Social media plugins
  • We use social plugins from facebook.com, operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. The plugins can be recognised by the Facebook logo or the addition ‘Facebook Social Plugin’. If you click on the ‘Like’ button or post a comment, for example, the corresponding information is transmitted directly from your browser to Facebook and stored there. Facebook also makes your preferences public to your Facebook friends. If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can directly associate your visit to our site with your Facebook account. Even if you are not logged in or do not have a Facebook account, your browser transmits information (e.g. which website you have visited, your IP address) that is stored by Facebook. For details on how Facebook handles your personal data and your rights in this regard, please refer to Facebook’s privacy policy: http://www.facebook.com/policy.php. If you do not want Facebook to associate the data collected about you via our websites with your Facebook account, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our websites. We would like to point out that the competent supervisory authorities have expressed data protection concerns about the use of Facebook.
  • The kinosvet.de website includes features of the Instagram service. These features are provided by Instagram Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA, 94025, USA. If you are logged into your Instagram account, you can link the content of our pages to your Instagram profile by clicking on the Instagram button. This allows Instagram to associate your visit to our site with your user account. We would like to point out that, as the provider of the site, we have no knowledge of the content of the data transmitted or its use by Instagram. For more information, please refer to Instagram’s privacy policy: https://instagram.com/about/legal/privacy/.
  • YouTube. Our website uses plugins from the Google-operated site YouTube. The operator of the site is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit our site equipped with a YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. This tells the YouTube server which page you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to associate your browsing behaviour directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account. Further information on the handling of user data can be found in YouTube’s privacy policy at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.
  1. Links to websites of other providers

Our websites may contain links to websites of other providers to which this privacy policy does not extend. If the use of other providers’ websites involves the collection, processing or use of personal data, please observe the privacy policies of the respective providers.

  1. Security of personal data

We use appropriate administrative, logical, physical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from loss, theft, unauthorised access, use and modification. Unfortunately, no measures can guarantee 100% protection. For this reason, we cannot guarantee the security of your information.

  1. Changes to the privacy policy

We reserve the right to change this privacy policy at any time in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.
